A NOTE FROM ME (Krista Sahlin): Did you know that the average person changes careers 7 times in their life (on average)? I don’t know if this statement is true, but, at the age of 34, I find myself in my third ‘career’ now as a digital scrapbook designer. I initially went to to college on a completely different career path; now as a graphic designer, I find myself wanting to learn more about my design programs and to take a few classes. Well, after a few years of wanting to… I did it. I took the plunge. If you’ve noticed I’ve been a little absent from releasing new products…well, my time has been spent in classes, doing hours of Adobe Illustrator homework, and reading through lessons. It’s been a wonderful challenge, and I’m trying to absorb as much as I can. It’s been A LOT of fun learning these new skills. I look forward to applying them in my designs and speeding up a few of my processes. Which brings me to today’s new products…I finally got back in the designing seat, and it felt SO good to get back into being creative again.
There’s nothing better than a big stack of school supplies- the unopened notebooks, freshly sharpened pencils and that brand-new crayon smell. The only thing better? Finding a stash of VINTAGE school supplies! If you’re a lover of all things kitsch and office materials, this School Ephemera Stacks collection is for you. It has a bundle of school ephemera from flashcards and paper clips, to paper stacks and report cards. THEN…VINTAGE MEETS MODERN…The School Time Papers kit combines colorful scallops and bright polka dots with brightened up versions of retro maps and alpha samplers.
These are not just for the K-12 crowd; this is great for documenting your college years, career path, story time at the local library, school layouts, travel albums, or even someone looking to showcase their everyday photos!
