NEW | Digital Washi Tape No. 3
Posted on under NEW RELEASES
I have a love affair with washi tape. Literally, I do. You should see my desk…I have dozens of washi tape rolls scattered around my desktop. I don’t do anything special with them other than decorate tons of random stuff, from my daily planner, to notes for the kids, school calendars, plain papers…yes, I am regularly sticking pretty patterns of sticky tape on bits of everything. So why not get digi with it? This is my 3rd set of Digital Washi Tape and I tried to focus on a little bit more darker, boyish color palette. (If you noticed, they coordinate perfectly with my September School TimePapers.) This pack contains 21 unique pieces (and clusters!) of tape in different color choices and patterns. Use them one at a time for a realistic look, or stack and layer them underneath elements for a bit of colorful flair!

Create Realistic Washi Tape
Ever wonder how to get that realistic look with your digital tape? My friend, Peppermint, of One Little Bird Designs has this fabulous video tutorial that takes you step-by-step to teach you how to get a realistic “paper” look to your digital tape. This is the method I use to make it look like it is so real. Check out the tutorial here.

Loved this post. The sample layouts are really helpful (for a non-washi tape user), plus that layout by strange.bird just speaks to me (can’t read the journalling) but it is powerful still! Thanks for taking the time and effort to further our digi scrapping knowledge.
