Project Mouse: “A Day in the Park”

Hello, everyone!! I’m VERY excited to share this week’s installment of “Project Mouse” with you! It’s an exciting week of new goodies, and Bundle No. 4 is the BIGGEST release we’ve ever had, and its jam packed with incredible cards, word bits, and inspiration! We got so crazy with cards that two of the packs needed DOUBLE previews to show off all the cards.

The focus of this week’s release is “A Day in the Park”. Britt and I created an entire pack dedicated to journaling and recording your day-to-day memories on a Disney vacation. There are packs to focus on the rides & attractions, food, daily documenting and a HUGE pack of Day In the Park Word Bits… So from the time you wake up, to your meals, rides, magical memories, snacks, treats, more rides, more fun and back to the hotel, we’ve got it covered!!!

And in sticking with our Project Mouse Mission Statement… “A Day in the Park” is PERFECT for scrapbooking your trip… but our main goal was to help you to capture even MORE… something that would help to capture the DETAILS of your trip. Those little details and the small moments that have been easily forgotten or that you don’t always get photographs of. Included in each of these packs you will find numerous story prompts, blank forms, journalers, phrases, and memory joggers to help trigger and capture those small moments of your day in the park.

Be sure to keep reading for a super cool FREEBIE below!

There are 3 NEW card packs & 1 word bit pack.

Project Mouse: Daily Documenting

In “Daily Documenting” are journal cards that could record all the day-to-day memories of your Disney vacation. I am SO excied about these!! They are PERFECT for printing off and taking with you on a trip!! PACKED FULL of journal prompts and ideas, interviews, and question forms. You and your kiddos could happily fill out journaling cards at the end of each day. I brought these with me on our trip I just returned from, and it was a great way to find out more details from each family member.

These are PERFECT for documenting your day-to-day regular everyday life as well!

(These next two card packs are SO HUGE we had to make TWO previews for each pack – I told you we were out of control – in order to show you all the cards. One show the 3×4 cards and the second shows the 4x6s.)

Project Mouse: Rides & Attractions

For “Rides & Attractions” we were inspired by all the fun and exciting time spent on rides and other attractions. These cards have the perfect saying, sentiment, journaling opportunities and excitement for scrapping ride photos and other ride memories.

Project Mouse: Food

I don’t know about you, but one of my FAVORITE things about a Disney vacation (or any vacation for that matter) is . . . THE FOOD. Whether is grabbing a Mickey pretzel, or a big fancy Character Meal, our Project Mouse: Food pack covers it all. I know I want to remember all those yummy memories, and I’m guessing you do too!

Project Mouse: A Day in the Park Word Bits

Last but not least, we put together a GIANT word art pack with stickers, word strips, flairs, speech bubbles, photo overlays and MORE. Everything you need when recording a “Day in the Park” to add extra interest and emphasis. Works amazing for both pocket style scrapbook pages AS WELL as traditional style layouts.

Another awesome addition. Thanks for the freebie!

  • Hello,

Project Mouse is amazing. You have done a gorgeous job coordinating the numerous elements. I really think you should talk to Becky Higgins and work out a deal for a printed in the box version to released under her Project Life brand. Or work directly with American Crafts to produce your own version. This is a product that soooo many people would enjoy not just scrapbookers. Your design work on this is beautiful. Our kids are already in the their 20’s and even though I have pictures in photo albums from our various trips to Disney I will be putting together an album with these products, but I’m not going to lie I wish I had a box of them already printed to go to – just for ease of use. I look forward to using your products with grandkids at some time in the future.

    Congratulations on a wonderful release,
    Laura

    • I am SO glad you are loving project mouse!! The pieces are so much fun to work with. I would LOVE to have physical pieces to work with, like Project Life or American Crafts!! How fun would that be. At this time, I’m not sure how to have these manufactured or the stored capacity to sell in any type of bulk. Thanks for your encouragement to look for other opportunities. We can hope for the future! Have fun on your uses now… and in the future with your grandkids!

  • Thanks so much!

  • thank you!!!!!

  • Another awesome edition of Project Mouse! Thank you so much for the journaling cards 🙂

  • I just purchased a few different Project Mouse files, but I don’t know how to get them into an Adobe pdf file. How do I print these as a PNG file? I have never done that before. I emailed you guys. I hope you will be able to help me. I want to be able to print the cards out on a sheet of paper to put in my Project Life albums.

Thanks so much in advance for your help. 🙂

    • Hello Sandy, When you purchase, each of these packs come with “print files”. Just check the folder of the download and look for “print files” in the title. In that folder includes jpegs (and in the latest releases pdf files as well). These are all ready to print. As to creating your own print files with the pngs, you can treat them just like you would word art… slide or open in any program like Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Paint or anything like that. Arrange and print. I will be doing a blog post on this soon. Hope this helps.

      • Thanks Krista, this helped a lot. I did not realize to click on print files. then i saw the Adobe PDF file. Thank you!! 🙂

      • Actually Krista, I tried all files and the “Characters” file is the only one that had an Adobe PDF file in it. The “Autograph Cards”, “Quote Cards” and “Basic Cards” did not have Adobe PDF print files in it, it only had jpg files. Would it be possible to get them in Adobe PDF files?

  • I can’t tell you how much I love this collection. I can’t wait to use it for my most recent trip to Disney World (last week). I am just finishing up my trip in 2011. I would love, love, love to see some sets with a Disney Christmas or Halloween theme! Thank you so much for all the awesome freebies too!

I just picked up bundles 2&4 yesterday and was having so much fun with it. I have two Disney trips that I want to work on plus I’m hoping to round up photos from when I went as a kid. I also started to use it to record a couple weekend trips and really love how it reminds me of details I wouldn’t have thought to get down. It’s really awesome and has a such wide range of uses. You guys thought of everything! Thanks for the freebies too!

    • I am so so glad you love them!! My whole purpose was to capture and document those small things we easily forget (not so much just the big moments). I’m so glad you are using and enjoying them. Thanks for writing a note to let us know… you’ve MADE my day!

  • Ooh! Thanks for the freebie!! I just bought my first Project Mouse kit & can’t wait to use it. Thanks so much for all of the layout ideas too!

  • So cool. I just found your site and love it! Unfortunately I was unable to download the above freebie….

    • Just click on the download button, then a save as screen will pop up. (Perhaps make sure you don’t have any pop-up functions turned off?) I just gave it a go on my computer and it worked ok for me!

  • thank you for the freebie!

    Luv it all THANK YOU ;~}

  • Love these! Thanks a lot!

  • I love your Project Mouse collection with Britt and am using them as printables for my paper scrapbooking. I’m having a problem with the word art, “weeeeee!!” When I view it on the screen and in print preview, the letters are filled in. When I print it, whether in Word or in PSE, the words are only faint outlines. What am I doing wrong?

    • Hmmm… I’m not sure if I know what you mean. Do you want to send me an email (with an example or photo)? Maybe i can help figure out what is going on. 😉

      • Well…this is a little embarrassing. It worked on another printer but that was a post script printer so I thought my printer was the problem. I reinstalled my printer drivers, tried to print as a jpg, PDF and psd file, and then noticed it was happening with fonts I had used before with no problem. After all that, even tho the ink level wasn’t at a low warning, I replaced the black cartridge–and now it prints fine! It was the stupid ink cartridge! Ha!

You were so sweet to offer to help via email. It means a lot!

        Kathy.

  • I just discovered Project Mouse. VERY cute!

A lot of the comments mention a freebie. Did I miss something?

  • Is the freebie no longer available?

  • I too would like to know about the freebie if possible. I just got back from WDW and am looking at doing a Project Mouse style album for my pics. I’m planning to buy several kits, but any freebies would be helpful too. I just love this line you guys have created!
